Victorian Handrail (Vic Ash) – Bulk Buy / Random Lengths

This is a bulk-buy product sold by the metre. It will be supplied in random lengths. It has a minimum purchase quantity 25 metres.
If you require set lengths or a smaller quantity of rail, this product can also be purchased in individual lengths.

Where would you normally use our Victorian timber handrails?
As a handrail, either attached to the wall or as part of the balustrade on a staircase.

What is it made out of?
Plantation-grown Victorian Ash.

We utilize SELECT grade timber, the highest quality available.

It is predominantly clear and free of defects, but a small amount of gum vein, tight knots and black specks are acceptable within the SELECT grading rules.

How should you finish it?
For a natural look, a clear lacquer works well. Alternatively, you can apply a stain for your desired colour followed by a clear lacquer finish. Consult your local paint retailer for more detailed advice.
