This advanced square RGB TTL TFT Display – 3.4″ with Touchscreen provides 480×480 18-bit full-color pixels with IPS display technology, enabling excellent color vividness up to an 80-degree off-axis angle. Perfect for passionate hackers who appreciate a visually stunning display.
This Square RGB 666 TTL TFT Display – 3.4″ with Touchscreen uses the ST7701S TFT driver with both SPI and TTL RGB ‘dot clock’ data. It requires SPI for configuration only, as it doesn’t permit pixel drawing over SPI. Moreover, its 40-pin connector doesn’t have the same pinout as the standard rectangular 800×480 (4.3″, 5″ or 7″) or 480×272 (4.3″) displays, making it a new kind of display.
To power a RGB TFT display, you need a microcontroller supporting TTL driving, such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or a computer like Raspberry Pi connected directly or through ICN6211. Not compatible with single-board computers like Feather or Arduino.
Featuring an attractive bezel, this 3.4″ display has a FT6336U capacitive touchscreen, along with an I2C and IRQ connection on the 40-pin FPC.
This is just the display module! No PCB is included.
You cannot use these with an everyday microcontroller unless it specifically has support for RGB-666 displays so please do not purchase unless you know for sure that it can plug into a driver board with the correct pinout as well. Check out the Adafruit Qualia ESP32-S3 for TTL RGB-666 Display!
