This timepiece is designed for the needs of professional pilots – it is both legible and resilient. B-42 Flieger Automatic Chronograph Alarm is equipped with Fortis F 2001-5 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 35 bearing jewels. Other movement characteristics include Incabloc shock absorber and two barrels. Hands, numerals and indices are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A date display is positioned at the 3 o’clock mark. The chronograph comes with a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour register. Additional useful features include an alarm, alarm on/off indication, flange with alarm scale, pusher protection, crown with the Fortis logo, see-through case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
